The competition for the residential and boarding house Hafenallee 1 of the real estate group GOC in cooperation with Zollhafen Mainz GmbH and the city of Mainz was decided in September 2020. The design of the residential and boarding house is based on the principle of axis alignment on the parallelogram-shaped property.

The residential modules with axes of 3.65 m, 4.45 m and 4.60 m were developed to meet all requirements such as apartment sizes, sound insulation and outdoor spaces. All access cores are connected and barrier-free. All apartments have open spaces, loggias, balconies or private gardens on the first floor.
