The concept of the exhibition hall is based on intuitive spatial orientation. Visitors can tell from the architectural language in which direction they are traveling, parallel or in the direction of the Rhine. The east-west connections are given a dynamic formal language, while the north-south direction forms the static antipole. The intersections of the "Terminal" and its extension with the halle 1Plus are made visible to the outside from afar as a logical consequence by a characteristic warp on its envelope. The "Rhine Eye" in the direction of the Staatenhaus and serves as a signpost to the Halle1plus entrance.
