A new building ensemble consisting of two residential towers is emerging from the Westhafen area. The "gateway" to the city of Frankfurt is located between the main train station and the Main River. With 20 stories, 66 meters high and 83 residential units, Tower One is the dominant feature of the staggered building ensemble. The short side of the building faces the banks of the Main river. The second tower, with eleven stories, 38 meters in height and 44 residential units, refers in its height to the neighboring student dormitory, which also serves as an elongated bar on the railroad embankment for noise protection. Deeply cut loggias, the visual combination of two floors each and the light color of the façade lend structure, lightness and elegance to the tall buildings. Accesses to Sommerhoff Park, a landscaped promenade along the banks of the Main River and green spaces between the buildings create attractive outdoor spaces. Construction on the project is scheduled to begin in 2020.
